Acceptable Use Policy

Introduction

This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") governs the use of NevTan Cloud's infrastructure, cloud services, application hosting services, AI services, APIs, networks, websites, and related offerings (collectively, the "Services"). This AUP is incorporated into the Terms of Service by reference.

Prohibited Activities

Illegal and Harmful Content

You may not use the Services to host, distribute, or transmit:

• Content that violates any applicable law or regulation
• Child sexual abuse material (CSAM) or any content that exploits minors
• Content that promotes violence, terrorism, or hate speech
• Defamatory, harassing, or threatening content
• Content that infringes intellectual property rights

Security Violations

You may not use the Services to:

• Conduct unauthorized access to systems, networks, or accounts
• Deploy malware, ransomware, spyware, or other malicious software
• Launch denial-of-service (DoS) or distributed denial-of-service (DDoS) attacks
• Conduct port scanning or network reconnaissance without authorization
• Exploit vulnerabilities in third-party systems without permission

Authorized penetration testing and security research conducted against your own systems is permitted with advance notification to NevTan Cloud. Contact abuse@nevtan.com before conducting such activities.

Spam and Abuse

You may not use the Services to:

• Send unsolicited bulk email (spam) or SMS messages
• Operate botnets or coordinate mass messaging without recipient consent
• Engage in phishing, fraud, or social engineering attacks
• Harvest email addresses or personal data without consent

Resource Abuse

You may not:

• Mine cryptocurrency without explicit authorization from NevTan Cloud
• Use the Services in a manner that disproportionately burdens shared infrastructure
• Circumvent resource limits, quotas, or billing controls
• Resell or sublicense the Services without prior written authorization

AI and Inference Abuse

When using NevTan Cloud's AI inference services, you may not:

• Generate content designed to deceive, manipulate, or defraud individuals
• Use AI outputs to create deepfakes or non-consensual synthetic media
• Attempt to extract model weights, training data, or proprietary system prompts
• Use inference infrastructure to train competing AI models without authorization

Enforcement

NevTan Cloud reserves the right to investigate suspected violations of this AUP. Depending on the severity and nature of the violation, enforcement actions may include:

• Warning and request to remedy the violation
• Temporary suspension of affected services or workloads
• Termination of account and Services
• Reporting to law enforcement where required by law

We aim to apply enforcement proportionally, preferring remediation over termination where appropriate and where the violation does not pose an immediate risk to others.

Reporting Abuse

To report abuse, spam, or security incidents involving NevTan Cloud infrastructure, contact us at abuse@nevtan.com. We take all reports seriously and aim to respond within 24 hours.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this AUP from time to time. Material changes will be communicated with at least 30 days' advance notice via email or platform notification.
